2 Years On.

Here we are in 2012 and i've just found this blog I was writing in 2008 then 2010 now here we are in 2012 and at last the weight is finally starting to come off. How am i doing it? Well in a way it is pretty straight forward really its called exercise and watching what you're eating.(but mainly exercise I don't think i'll ever stop eating chocolate....yummy). Just 6 weeks ago i weighed in at an earth shattering 16 stone 1/4lb.It was the heaviest i'd ever been and being 52 its always good to keep trying to get rid of any excess poundage.That's when I changed jobs within the postal delivery office that I work at in Plymouth UK. I've worked in the post office as a postman/driver for the last 36 years but for the last 10 years after an injury to my right achilles tendon which still hurts over 10 years on I have mostly been a driver with a small(1hr a day) bit of walking on my duty.Just 6 weeks ago I had to pick a new duty and i picked a walking duty where I walk for up to 5 hrs a day 5 days a week but because my round is flat and has hardly any steps my achilles tendon isn't playing up a bit and i'm getting the exercise I really need to get rid of this excess 41/2 stone. After the first 5 and a half weeks I have already shifted 71/2lbs and my first goal is to get down to 15 stone in the next 2 mths.After that the next goal would be to get down as low as I can when I go on holiday this year.Yippee... now I know I can do it.Let the adventure continue...
